The Dancing On Ice 2025 line-up is finally complete after ITV revealed the last celebrity joining the cast.

Paralympic grand champion Dame Sarah Storey have become the 12th celebrity confirmed for the upcoming series, joining the likes of Michaela Strachan and Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey.

Speaking on Monday’s episode of Lorraine, Dame Sarah revealed she is looking forward to testing herself with a ‘new skill’.

‘I’m excited to learn a new skill and have the opportunity to put myself out there and learn a new sport,’ she said.

Dame Sarah’s 19 Paralympic gold medals make her the most successful British Paralympian of all time.

Her big reveal comes after Hollyoaks actress Chelsee, 36, Towie star Dan Edgar, 34, and Barbie actor Chris Taylor, 34, have all been confirmed.

TV favourite Michaela, 58, was also announced on an episode of Lorraine, and she confessed to not having a lot of experience on ice.

‘It’s going to be a big challenge the last time I was on ice was four years ago when I took the kids,’ she explained.

However, not all hope is lost thanks to her past training: ‘I’m not one of those people who holds onto the sides I guess because I was trained as a dancer I’ve got a bit of balance.’

Dame Sarah Storey is looking forward to trying out a ‘new sport’ when she joins Dancing On Ice, as well as a chance to maintain her fitness and discipline.

‘Being able to do something different during the first winter after a games is a really healthy thing to do. It gives you some headspace, keeps you fit and healthy,’ she told Lorraine.

Her only experience with skating as been at parties, and she only has the basics figured out.

‘I’ve skated at birthday parties, and as a child. I’ve proved I can go from one side of a rink to another without falling over, but I’m not an expert by any stretch,’ she said.

‘I’ve never been twirled, I can’t go backwards – yet!’

Michaela Strachan

Sitting on Lorraine’s sofa, Michaela Strachan opened up on her feelings about the upcoming appearance on Dancing On Ice.

The presenter explained why she wanted to take part. ‘I’ve always been one of those people who say yes, I’ll do that,’ the brave star said.

In the 1980s, Michaela was a regular on Saturday morning TV with gigs on Good Morning Britain and Wide Awake Club.

She has also hosted series former Really Wild Show, Springwatch, and Countryfile.

Michaela also has experience of reality TV – she has also said yes to Splash – where she learnt to dive with assistance from Tom Daley, and Pilgrimage. The BBC series saw Michaela hike through North Wales with other stars including Spencer Matthews and Christine McGuinness, while discussing their different faiths.

Chris Taylor

‘And the Nobel prize for horses goes to Ken!’ was his singular line in the Barbie movie. If things go well then Chris Taylor will be hoping it’ll be this Ken collecting an award – the Dancing on Ice trophy.

The reality star first rose to prominence on Love Island in 2019 but managed to stand out from the pack with his unique sense of humour.

The funny guy now regularly posts funny sketches on social media, including impersonating women on nights out. One video of him wearing the same two-piece as Kaz Kamwi on a staged meetup has been liked over 1.7 million times.

In 2023, Chris once again returned to Love Island, this time on the all-stars version, but wasn’t able to find a long-lasting connection.

Ahead of his upcoming appearance, Chris said: ‘I’m somewhere between absolutely terrified and very excited and I keep flitting between the two quite aggressively throughout the day. I’ve not even started stretching yet, I need to.

‘I can skate but my dad got the snake hips, unfortunately, I didn’t inherit that genetically from him.’

Dan Edgar

Dan Edgar has been causing chaos on Towie since 2015, and now he’s branching out to Dancing On Ice.

‘I’m looking forward to it but the thought of the live shows and performing is very real. I like to think I can ice skate a little bit but I’m a terrible dancer so that bit is going to need some work,’ he admitted.

Over the years, Dan has made the reality show more interesting with his liaisons – Chloe Sims, Kate Ferdindard and Ella Wise have all been romantically entangled with charming Dan.

As Dan can’t flirt with ice, he’s not going to be able to rely solely on that in January!

Chelsee Healey

Chelsee Healey is best known for playing Goldie McQueen on Hollyoaks, which she has done on and off since 2008, but soon we’ll get to know the real her a little more.

Talking to Heart Radio, Chelsee said: ‘I’m ready, I’m good to go, let’s go! I’ve got a bit of rhythm but skating on ice is completely different, I’m excited.

‘I’m most excited for the live shows, getting to perform live every week will give me a buzz, I can’t wait for the live shows.’

‘I’m in a new phase of my life since retiring from football and the one of the things I’ve missed about playing is the structure it gives you.

‘Dancing On Ice will give me that focus but I’m also doing it for my daughter because she loves dance and performing arts. My son always had my football to shout about so this will give my daughter and me something to share.’

Anton is a former professional footballer, who most recently played for St Mirren as a centre back before retiring in 2019.

He has also played for teams including West Ham, Queens Park Rangers, Sunderland and Reading.

Now Anton is a broadcaster and pundit, making regular appearances on IMG, Sky Sports, TalkSPORT, and BT Sport. He also fronted BBC One Documentary, Anton Ferdinand: Football, Racism, and Me.

She revealed she knew she’d be on the show for the ‘last few weeks’ but it was only just settling in.

The star appeared on the episode to explain that she was ready for this latest reality competition, after previously winning I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2012.’

Charlie is best known for playing Janine in EastEnders and joked on Loose Women that she still gets fans coming up to her on the street to accuse her of killing Barry.

The actress is no stranger to celebrity competition shows after competing in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2012, and the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special in 2011.

She said she’s skated ‘with a mulled wine at Christmas’ but said until she gets on the ice ‘she has no idea’ if she’ll be any good.

She added that she just wants to ‘get through it undamaged’ and to have fun.

The Chesney actor, 31, was dressed in a snowman suit in the studio before the big reveal.

‘I’m nervous don’t get me wrong, but I’m excited,’ he admitted, recalling the ‘buzz’ he felt experiencing Dancing On Ice for the first time.

‘They stand you on the ice for five, ten minutes, to get a basic sense of what it will be like, and that was it really,’ he explained.

Sam added: ‘It’s going to be nice for the public to see me for me rather than Chesney.’

The dad-of-three has been a part of Corrie since 2003.

Sir Steve announced he had signed up for Dancing On Ice on This Morning – but said all the contestants had been given a warning.

He told the ITV show that the production team had told him not to practice skating until the first official training session for the reality show.

Speaking about DOI, the Olympian said: ‘Some of my friends are saying it’s a mid-life crisis, but I’m too old for a mid-life crisis, I’m far past that age.’

He explained one reason behind his decision to join Dancing On Ice was because he used to take his grandchildren ice skating when they were younger.

Sir Steve continued: ‘I must be one of the closest to being one of the oldest, if not the oldest on the show, but I’m certainly the heaviest on the show, around 20stone, so I’m not light… I’ve got no idea [who they’ll pair me with].’

Now a retired rower, Sir Steve won gold medals at five consecutive Olympic Games from 1984 to 2000. He has also won three Commonwealth Games gold medals and nine World Rowing Championships golds.

The 22-year-old reached the final but ultimately lost out on a share of £95,150 after Traitor Harry Clark convinced her he was a Faithful.

However, now Mollie fancies her chances on Dancing On Ice, revealing on today’s Lorraine she would be taking on the ice rink next year.

She said: ‘It will be fun, I want to challenge myself, I’m ready for the challenge.’

Outside of her TV career, Mollie raises awareness for other people with stoma bags and limb differences.

Mollie uses a stoma bag after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis aged 11 and was born with a limb difference on her right hand.

Ferne revealed to Good Morning Britain presenters Susanna Reid, 53, and Ed Balls, 57, that she had signed up for DOI.

‘It’s going to be a huge challenge but I’m excited for the glitz and glamour of the show,’ the First Time Mum star added.

A source had previously claimed Ferne had signed up for Dancing On Ice to ‘win over the public’ after being embroiled in a scandal.

In 2022, Ferne was heard in leaked voice notes calling the woman attacked with acid by her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins ‘an ugly f*****g c**t.’

Collins, the father of her daughter Sunday, six, was jailed for 20 years for for throwing acid and injuring multiple people in a nightclub in 2017.

Ferne later apologised to Sophie Hall and the other victims of the 2017 attack but maintained the voice notes were ‘manipulated, edited and taken out of context.’

Dancing on Ice returns to ITV and ITVX in 2025.
